A lightweight web browser which focuses on user privacy and blocking web advertisements.

Midori is a beautiful web browser similar to Google Chrome and Firefox which focuses on both usability and a nice looking user interface.

As far as web browsers go, Midori admittedly doesn't offering much more functionality over the many other modern browsers out there but it does have several differences which some people may appreciate.

Just as with virtually all other modern browsers, Midori includes tabbed browsing which allows you to have multiple web pages open simultaneously. Like Firefox and Chrome, it also supports private web browsing where windows opened in this mode will not save in your history, nor will the sites you access it with access regular cookies.

Toolbar items can be moved around and customized. The browser comes with some extensions which can control looks and functionality.

Midori offers many of the conveniences we have all come to expect from web browsers including bookmarks and a shortcut section which gives you quick access to selected web sites.

All in all, the Midori browser is an interesting entry into the Windows browser market which uses the same open-source layout engine as many of the most popular Linux-based applications.
